CGM-AIR-1 reference standard for calibration gas composition is designed for the verification, calibration, and metrological support of gas-analytical equipment. Based on air, these mixtures contain various combinations of components and guarantee high measurement accuracy for use in laboratories, industries, and metrological services.
These calibration gas mixtures are used for:
-
transferring the unit of molar fraction of components to Class 2 certified reference standards;
-
verification, calibration, and graduation of gas analyzers and measurement systems;
-
monitoring the metrological characteristics of measurement instruments;
-
validation and metrological certification of measurement procedures;
-
monitoring the accuracy/error parameters of measurement results obtained via measurement procedures during their application;
-
internal and external quality control of measurement results.
Concentration Range
The mixtures are prepared with molar (volume) fraction of components ranging from 1×10⁻⁴% to 99.9%.
